The Peaceful Dragon's Competition Team

Benefits include:

Intensive instruction, practice and preparation for international-level competition and performance. Special Saturday afternoon and Tuesday evening training classes exclusively for Competition Team members.
Choice of focusing on full-contact sparring, point sparring, push hands, forms, weapons, shuai-chiao grappling, or a combination of any of these styles for competition.
Camaraderie of like-minded students sharing the goal of reaching one's highest potential in the martial arts.
The goal is not to feed the ego by winning trophies and medals; the hope is you win trophies and medals as a by-product of pushing yourself to reach your full potential in your martial arts skill.

Eligibility:

Children in our Leadership Program aged nine and up; teens and adults in our Mastery or Disciple Programs.
Natural talent is not the deciding factor for acceptance - a strong desire to constantly improve and continuing evidence of such improvement is of most importance. Every eligible student will be afforded a one-month tryout. To tryout, simply show up to the classes.
