Tai Chi Retreat

Our first Mountain Tai Chi Retreat at the will be held at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly. Relax and revitalize your spirit with a long weekend of intensive training in tai chi, yoga, meditation and chi kung under the instruction of Sifu Sbarge. This four-day retreat will be held in the North Carolina mountains just a couple of hours from Charlotte. The retreat will include lodging and meals in a comfortably rustic setting. Here's the daily schedule.

If you've never done tai chi or the related arts, this is an excellent chance to discover how great they can make you feel. If you're already a student of these arts, this intense uninterrupted training can help you break through barriers and reach new levels in your skill and understanding.

Reservations are made at The Peaceful Dragon. Prices are just $329 for students; $429 for members (Remember: anyone can become a Peaceful Dragon member for just $19.95 and receive our member's discount - or you can become a student and get the full student discount).

Early bird special: Register before March 31, 2000 and save $30! Or take advantage of a family discount (2 or more people) and save $30! A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration (check, cash or credit card accepted.) In the event The Peaceful Dragon must cancel the retreat for any reason, you will receive a full refund.

*Note that free time has been set aside on Saturday night for visiting the local shops and restaurants or for relaxing. On Sunday afternoon a mountain hike and tai chi session is planned, but if you are a non-hiker you can of course stay behind and practice your tai chi or enjoy free time.
